T R I A L S
During your trial, I will work with you to create the perfect look for your wedding day, getting the best out of products you know and love or introducing new ideas and techniques to enhance your look. We will also discuss your wedding in detail, as this will help me build up an idea of how you want to look on your big day, and how I will create your desired look. You're welcome to bring along any photos or ideas of makeup looks that you like. We will take into account what you normally do with your make-up as it’s important to look like an enhanced version of yourself on your wedding day not a completely different person. A trial is a must for brides as it is important to get the look correct for the special day, also to ensure everything wears perfectly on your skin.
Trials will be taken place at my home studio in Dodford, Worcestershire, and generally take around 1.5 hours for a bride. These can be booked in between Monday-Thursday. During busy periods it might not always be possible for us to schedule trials at the weekend, particularly Saturdays, but I will try my best to work around you. I suggest you have the trial around 3-4 months prior to the big day. I do not style wedding hair, but I am very happy to recommend hair stylists that I have worked with closely on previous shoots and weddings.
O N T H E D A Y
The big day! I love the energy of preparing for a wedding but all that excitement can be stressful and thats not want you'll want for your big day. Your make-up will be one thing you don't need to worry about. All the details of the location, your individual look and any products you will need, will all have been taken care of at your trial. Depending on the time of your ceremony, I will give plenty of time to set up and complete the bridal party, aiming to finish the bride last so you stay as fresh as possible throughout the day. The brides make-up will take around 45 minutes and 35 minutes for each member of the bridal party. I will also organise time to make sure you have at least an hour after hair and make-up to enjoy your time, get into your dress and get photographs taken- I am always on hand to stay to help with any last minute jobs that need doing, whether it's to help get into your dress, or to top up lips.
